Adult Specialized Groups
Specialized Groups typically consist of 6-12 adults who study a particular area of interest or support each other with a particular need. All of our groups are open to community attendees, but specialized groups may have an even broader appeal. Open to couples and singles from varying life stages, depending on the group.
When: Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
Time: Hour sessions within time frame of 3:30 - 8:30 PM

Today's Middle and High School students face a rigorous academic schedule and many of them have turned to Acacia to seek help. Acacia is a great place where we link up students with willing volunteers to assist them in their studies. Each session with a student is 45 minutes with 15 minutes worth of notes.
Please consider building up our next generation with this very practical and useful service.

DivorceCare is a small group format to provide support and community for those who are going through or have gone through separation and/or divorce. Through video presentation and small group discussion, you find that you are not alone as you travel on a healing journey. DivorceCare support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You'll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you through your journey and help you look forward to rebuilding your life.

At each meeting we discuss real questions and arguments from skeptics. Popular topics have included Creation, free will, God's ontology, evil and morality. The group is a safe place to explore some of the deeper questions of our faith as well as strengthen our answers we give to people who ask the reason for our hope.

GriefShare is a small group format support group meeting to provide support and community for those that have encountered a death loss. Through video presentation and small group discussion, you find that you are not alone as you travel on a healing journey. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You'll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.
